How to apply for an instructional course lecture (ICL)
Follow the steps below to submit your ICL proposal through the online portal.

Create an Account
Create an account to log in to the Abstract Submission Portal. The submitter must be the presenting author.

Complete Your Disclosure
Before submitting your ICL, you must complete your disclosure in the portal. The system will not allow you to submit your proposal until this step is finished.

Submit Your ICL Proposal
When submitting your ICL proposal, you will need to provide:
- Title of your ICL
- Description (brief summary and learning objectives)
- Proposed moderator
- Proposed faculty/panelists
- Contact information for all moderators and faculty
- Category for your session (from the list provided above)
- Outline of planned interactive elements (e.g., polling, case discussions, hands-on activities, debate, etc.) - Optional
No funding/honoraria will be provided; moderators and speakers must register for the Congress and cover their own travel/accommodation.

Edit or Update Your Proposal (if needed)
If you need to make changes or are unable to complete the submission in one session, you may return to your proposal and edit or complete it before the submission deadline of January 15, 2026.

ICL Guidelines
Submitted ICLs must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Maximum Number of Moderators: 1
- Maximum Number of Panelists/Speakers: 4

Important Information
- All submitters must complete their disclosure before submitting their session.
- Applicants must provide full contact information for all proposed speakers and moderators when submitting their course.
- If the session is accepted, all speakers and moderators will need to submit their disclosure.
- Invitations will be sent to the proposed moderators and speakers of accepted ICSES 2026 sessions on March 4, 2026.
- No funding or honoraria will be provided for moderators or speakers.
- All invited moderators and speakers are expected to register for the conference and cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Interactive Elements (Optional)
Examples include:
- Live polling or audience response questions
- Case-based discussions or scenario “walk-throughs”
- Small group activities or breakout discussions
- Short skills demonstrations or hands-on components
- Debate or extended Q&A formats
Submission Portal
The submission portal will open on November 5, 2025. Disclosure must be completed prior to submitting the ICL.
