Presenter Guide
These guidelines apply to all oral presenters and ePoster presenters at ICSES 2026.
Presenter Quick Guide (At-a-Glance)
Oral/Video Presenters

Must upload:
• Slide deck (PowerPoint, 16:9)
• Required disclosure slide (Slide 1) - No logos, brand names, trade names, or promotional content
- Manuscript is for oral abstract presenters only and is not published or publicly available.
- Slides must use generic terminology whenever possible
- Slides be uploaded in the Speaker Ready Room a minimum of 3 hours before presenting
- All videos must be embedded directly within the PowerPoint file (no external links or streaming)
ePoster Presenters
- ePosters are multi-slide, digital (no printed posters)
- Format: PowerPoint or multi-page PDF, 16:9
- Recommended length: 3–10 slides
- Required disclosure slide
- No logos, brand names, or promotional content
- High-resolution clinical images only (de-identified)
- Final presentation format (Digital display only during the conference; no presentation required)
Restrictions
Absolutely prohibited in ANY presentation material:
- Corporate logos
- Trade names / brand names
- Product-group messaging
- QR codes linking to commercial companies
- Device manufacturer imagery or templates
- Industry-created slides or content
Required Disclosure Slide
All presenters—oral and ePoster—must include a Disclosure Slide as Slide 1.
This slide must disclose:
- All relevant financial relationships with ACCME-defined ineligible companies
- Potential conflicts of interest
- If none exist: “The presenter has no relevant financial relationships to disclose.”
Prohibited Content
Slides, ePosters, manuscripts, and handouts must NOT include:
- Corporate logos
- Trade names, brand names, product names
- Advertising or promotional messages
- Product-group messages
- QR codes linking to commercial sites
- Images, diagrams, or templates provided by industry
- Any content created or influenced by an ineligible company
Generic terminology must be used for implants, devices, and pharmaceuticals whenever possible.
Acknowledgments
Allowed
Non-commercial entities such as:
- Universities, hospitals, research institutes
- Government agencies
- Non-profit foundations
- Collaborating physicians, researchers, or patients
Not Allowed
- Logos of ineligible companies
- Promotional language
- Branded acknowledgments
You may mention an ineligible company by name only. No logo, slogan, or brand identity elements are permitted.
Scientific Content Requirements
Presentations must:
- Be evidence-based and unbiased
- Use generic device or drug names where possible
- Present balanced comparisons of treatment options
- Include limitations and risks
- Avoid commercial bias in tone or emphasis
- Use high-resolution, de-identified clinical images

- High contrast text/background
- No logos or brand colors
- All videos and animations must be embedded
- Required Disclosure Slide must be Slide 1
Video Presentation Requirements
All videos included in oral presentations must be fully embedded within the PowerPoint file.
Requirements:
- Videos must be embedded (not linked to external files or websites)
- Videos must play correctly on standard Windows-based presentation systems
- Recommended formats: .mp4 (preferred) or .wmv
- Ensure all audio is embedded and functions properly
- Presenters are responsible for testing video playback in advance
Not permitted:
- Links to online videos (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, cloud storage)
- External video files that are not embedded in the presentation

Full Manuscript Submission (Required)
Full Manuscript Submission (Required for Oral Abstract Presenters)
All oral presenters must upload a full manuscript for use by session moderators.
Manuscript Requirements:- Must be submitted in electronic format.
- Should include a cover sheet with the title, paper number, and all authors.
- Must be suitable for publication and detailed enough to allow for evaluation of the merit and accuracy of the work.
- All tables and figures must be included and in camera-ready form.
- Must be saved in Word or PDF format, with a maximum size of 2 MB.
Submission:
- Manuscripts will be uploaded through the Speaker Portal
- Instructions and deadlines will be provided in July
- Manuscripts are not automatically published and remain confidential to moderators

ePoster Presentation Guidelines (Digital, Multi-Slide Format)
ICSES 2026 uses digital multi-slide ePosters displayed on screens throughout the venue.
There are no printed posters.

Presenters must:
- Fully de-identify all patient images
- Obtain consent for identifiable images
- Remove any patient identifiers or PHI
- Follow institutional privacy standards
Independence & Content Control
Presenters must ensure:
- All content is developed independently
- No review or influence by ineligible companies
- All conclusions represent the presenter’s own analysis
